Henna Tattoo on Back

Henna tattoos, also called “mehndi”, are a type of temporary body art decoration that developed in India. This traditional Henna tattoo body art designs were not thought of as tattooing at all, until quite recently. Henna as it is called in Muslims countries or Mehendi as it is known in India is named in Latin as Lawsonia inermis.

This is a plant extensively grown and used in UAE, Africa and India generally for cosmetic purposes as it is considered highly auspicious. Henna is also used as a medicinal plant by Unani and ayurvedic doctors with excellent results. While some people opt for the traditional mehndi on back  there are many other choices available. You can select a Henna tattoo on back design that is much like a real tattoo, the only limitation being that it has to be brown. For example, Celtic or Tribal Henna tattoo art on shoulder or back patterns are popular.

Another innovation is in the placement of henna tattoo on back. Rather than the traditional mehndi art on feet or henna tattoos art on handshenna tattoos designs on back are found in a number of placeson the body, much like real tattoos – the arm, shoulder or ankle are all common choices. The pattern is painted on by the tattoo artist, and then the paste is left to dry until it falls off naturally, revealing the tattoo design underneath.
